Bring your game! Expand your network!

Our July 19 ChamberChallenge golf outing is bigger and better than ever with lots of exciting changes. Here are 10 reasons why you don’t want your business or your associates to be left out of this year’s tournament.

1. Moorhead Country Club. Join us at our new location beautifully nestled in the wonderful community of Moorhead.

2. Golf Club Valet. When you arrive, make sure to take part in our golf club valet. Simply drive up to the front door and drop your clubs off. Your clubs will be on your cart for the 1 p.m. shotgun start.

3. Nine Hole Putting Tournament. Looking for something to do before the shotgun sounds? Here’s the schedule:
11 a.m. Driving Range Opens
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nine Hole Putting Contest at the Robert W. Anderson Championship Putting Green. Tournament golfers can participate from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sponsoring the event? Take a break and join the putting tournament from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

4. New and Exciting Sponsor Activities on the Course. Throughout the event, there will be lots of great activities from our amazing sponsors at various holes. No limitations on serving food or beverages for Tee Box Sponsors! Grills will be set up throughout the course serving hungry golfers throughout the day. Interested in sponsoring a hole or becoming a tee box sponsor?

5. Chamber Challenge – Margaritaville Style. All players and sponsors are invited, but not required, to participate in the first themed golf outing and be creative as possible. Awards will be given during the 19th Hole Happy Hour Reception. Golfers may register as foursomes or as individuals – we’ll pair you up with other players. It’s a great way to establish new relationships (or renew old ones).

6. Timed event – 6 p.m. play ends. Listen for the air horn and head on over to the clubhouse.

7. 19th Hole Happy Hour Reception. There will be an awards presentation at the reception at 6:30 p.m. Awards will be given for men’s and women’s team best score – winning foursomes will claim the first Chamber Challenge Cup; “The Most Gross” award for highest score; individual prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive; best themed Tee Box Sponsor; and best themed-dressed team.

8. Music on the deck by “The Buffettman.” Enjoy delicious appetizers and music on the deck by Tom Watt, known to his loyal following as “The Buffettman.” A true Jimmy Buffett double (in both looks and voice) Watt has been dazzling fans around the U.S. for almost a decade with his own unique tribute to both the music and spirit of Jimmy Buffett.

9. Helicopter Golf Ball Drop - Buy a golf ball for a chance to win $1,000! You don’t have to be present to win. Golf ball drop at 6:20 p.m. Live television broadcast with Dan Hammer, sports director at Valley News Live!
