ND 2020 & Beyond Seeks Fargo Input

February 20th, 2012 by Katie Hutton

North Dakota 2020 & Beyond (2020 & Beyond) has announced the timing for the Fargo community input sessions.

These public meetings are a chance for citizens to get involved and provide insight as the steering committee begins developing the 2020 & Beyond plan for North Dakota. The plan is to build on our growth and expand out visions for economic development statewide. The discussion will focus on three keys to the future people, places and opportunities.

2020 & Beyond was formed to expand North Dakota’s vision for the future, Governor Dalrymple and the North Dakota Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to lead the statewide development initiative. A steering committee and an advisory board, comprised of proven business leaders representing the state’s eight regions, will guide the process and develop a plan to address major themes. The steering committee will provide a report to the Governor and the North Dakota state legislature in the fall of 2012 outlining its recommendations for furthering North Dakota’s growth and enrichment.
