Health Care Reform in Minnesota
April 5th, 2012 by Jessica LeeThe Chamber invites its members and the public to participate in an important health care reform in Minnesota discussion on May 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead.
Critical decisions about the future of healthcare in Minnesota are being made in Saint Paul this year. In an effort to thwart the partisan rancor at the capital, the bipartisan Minnesota Health Care Reform Task Force is calling upon citizens of the state to provide guidance on the tough decisions that need to be made related to improving healthcare in Minnesota.
Appointed by Governor Dayton, the Health Care Reform Task Force is charged with developing strategies to:
1. Improve access
2. Lower costs by payment reform the encourages preventative care and rewards healthy outcomes
3. Improves the health of all Minnesotans and addresses health disparities
Please consider marking your calendar and joining The Chamber in these important decisions. No registration is required for this meeting.
