Ambassadors – Member Relations: Serves as the member retention arm of The Chamber, assists with recruitment and retention of member firms, assist with special events designed to promote member involvement and helps to retain members through personal contact, information, encouragement and support. The committee specifically welcomes and assists new Chamber member firms. |
Ambassadors – Public Relations: Serve as the public-relations arm of the Chamber, providing ground-breaking and ribbon-cutting ceremonies for new and expanding businesses; assists with recruitment and retention of Chamber member firms and assists with special events designed to promote general Chamber member involvement |
Business Training: Plans and coordinates The Chamber’s business training series for Chamber members designed to enhance the success of our community's businesses through a variety of targeted, practical and cost-effective training events. |
Leadership Fargo Moorhead West Fargo: Plans and conducts an annual leadership program for adults that provides participants with an opportunity to develop or enhance their personal leadership skills, network with business and community leaders and learn more about themselves, the Chamber, their community and servant leadership concepts |
Military Affairs: The Chamber’s Military Affairs committee is on a mission to foster a community of support for the men and women of our military and the missions they carry out on our behalf. With an annual economic impact to the region of over $70 million and the most reliable arsenal we have to fight annual floods and preserve the freedom we love, the vital role of the military in our region is undeniable. To recognize these courageous individuals, the committee will plan activities to raise awareness in the community for the work that they do and provide opportunities for the community to thank them for their outstanding accomplishments. The committee will also have a keen eye on advancing public policies that will advance our regions military units. |
Public Affairs: The Public Affairs committee is the advocacy arm of The Chamber. The committee consists of a cross-section of Chamber members who are committed to preserving the integrity of the business climate by advancing sound policies and a stable regulatory environment for the business community to thrive. Working to assess initiatives with regional significance, sub-committees of the Public Affairs committee include Regulatory/Tax/Budget, Transportation/Infrastructure, Work Force/Education, Health Care, Metro Cooperation, and Energy/ Environment/Water Resources. |
Young Professionals Network: Plans, schedules and coordinates quality, cost-effective training programs and networking events that enhance the personal and professional development of young professionals employed by Chamber member firms and helps to connect them to the Chamber, community and each other. Subcommittees include Professional Development, Entrepreneurs Anonymous, Membership Services, Corporate Cup and Social. |
