Places, programs and activities are also available at the area's parks. You'll find options for children, youth and adults alike for recreation, relaxation and socialization. Lindenwood Park in Fargo also offers a campground and RV parking.
Five area state parks provide year-round outdoor recreation activities within a short driving distance of Fargo Moorhead. Most state parks provide camping, swimming, boating/canoing, fishing and hiking/biking/snowmobile trails.

North Dakota Horse Park The mission of the North Dakota Horse Park is to develop and promote the sport of live horse racing and all equine activities. The park operates a six to seven week live race meet in August and September.
Red River Zoo A 20-acre Zoo, features over 80 species from around the world, including many animals that are rarely seen, such as Tanuki and Pallas Cats. While strolling through the park, don't miss a magical ride on a fully-restored 1928 Carousel.

S. S. Ruby River Tours Discover the history, geography, and wildlife of the Red River from the decks of the S.S. Ruby during a 45-minute pontoon tour, operated by River Keepers.
Thunder Road of Fargo Features 38 go-karts, two 18-hole miniature golf courses, a 5,000 square feet two level laser tag arena, bummer cars, six batting cages and more than 40 arcade games.
