Where can professional women connect with one another in a setting that challenges and supports them, while offering practical tips they can apply in their daily lives? That is the goal with The Chamber’s Women Connect program and events. This unique monthly series develops female professionals through sessions that focus on topics important to a woman’s professional and personal life. We address unique challenges professional women face in today’s business environment and provide connections, inspiration and an opportunity to socialize with and encourage one another.
We’d love to have you join us! Check out upcoming events to the right, and learn more about our new PUSH program below.
For the past four years, we’ve been thrilled to host national keynote speakers. At the first-ever Women Connect event, author Lynette Lewis dropped by to talk about climbing the ladder in stilettos. Then, Oprah-featured author Fawn Germer joined us to talk “Work-Life Reset” to a sell-out crowd of 600 women as we celebrated a successful first year. Next, we hosted blogger Jessica N. Turner who shared her secrets to finding fringe hours to do the things that you love. Most recently, we welcomed Robyn Benincasa to talk about her adventure racing stories and how to work in a winning team. Stay tuned to see who we bring to town next!
PUSH, which stands for Pursue Dreams, Unite Women, Shatter Barriers and Have Heart, is a new program extension off of Women Connect. This supportive network of women will empower each other to ask tough questions, challenge the norm and grow individually and professionally. We are currently accepting new PUSH groups!
