The moment we heard our organization’s name called as a ChamberChoice Award winner was an unforgettable moment. At Bobcat Company we’re all about hiring, nurturing and developing young professionals, so being named the Young Professionals Best Place to Work at the 2024 ChamberChoice Awards ceremony was incredibly meaningful. You could feel the excitement and pride from our team – it was such a great reminder of how much Bobcat Company values fostering the growth of young talent.
The Impact of Winning a ChamberChoice Award
Winning a ChamberChoice Award is a point of pride for our employees in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo region. Our team has always prioritized developing young professionals, but this award solidified the impact of our efforts and provided external validation. It also boosted our visibility in the community and strengthened our connections within the region.
For our organization, team and mission, the experience was a powerful affirmation of our commitment to empowering people to accomplish more. It demonstrates how we empower young professionals in their careers.
Bobcat's ChamberChoice Award Experience
The ChamberChoice Award recognition provides an opportunity to elevate our achievements to our employees and the broader community.
We applied for the ChamberChoice Awards because we have a strong young professional network internally. We wanted to elevate our young professionals and highlight that Bobcat is a great place for young professionals to consider in their career journey. The award application process was a cross-functional collaboration across several teams to ensure we could properly share our story, amplify the voices of our young professionals and help the judges understand why we should be considered.
When we won, we celebrated with our team, feeling humbled by the recognition. The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber (The Chamber) did an excellent job of recognizing the winners through various communication channels, including social media, local media outlets, the Bridge magazine and emails.
To anyone thinking about nominating a business, we highly recommend it. Bobcat has applied for Young Professionals Best Place to Work multiple years, and we are fortunate to have won in 2024. The Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo region has so many incredible businesses—large and small— worthy of this award. We offer something special for our young professionals, so we kept applying. Any business in our region that prioritizes its young professional community should apply. Win or lose, it’s a great way to get engaged with The Chamber, its members and to be recognized more broadly in the community.
